Firstly you need to check our availability on your date. You can do that ringing us or simply via email. If we are available on your day, we will arrange for a meeting to discuss your needs and desires and to get to know each other. We will save your date following the signing of the contract and receiving a deposit payment.
How does the payment procedure work?
We are very flexible with the payment process, and we believe we are unique in offering the following: we require a £200 non-refundable deposit upon booking. The outstanding balance will be paid after the wedding, a few days before your photos are ready for delivery. This is a significant advantage for our couples, especially considering the multitude of bills they need to settle before the wedding with other suppliers!
How many photographers?
You can decide how many photographers you would like on your big day. It is part of the personalisation! Stefano Cavallini Photography (Stefano plus his second photographer) must be the only professional, paid photographer for your wedding. (No problem for videographers)
How long will you stay at our wedding?
We normally start our full-day coverage with the bride's preparation (around 2 hours and a half before the ceremony) and we finish half an hour after the first dance. This guarantees us to have all the photos to tell the story of your day. However, if you should need more coverage, we can discuss this.
How would you describe your photography style?
Our wedding photography style is genuinely natural, informal yet elegant, and consistently contemporary. We enjoy documenting your wedding day as it unfolds, adding our artistic perspectiveYour wedding photos must look beautiful even in 10, 20 or 50 years; for this reason we avoid things that can look cool today but might not tomorrow. So keep it simple and elegant. Our album style is really lively, and we always keep it contemporary and elegant. In fact, your album must last for years and years and you should be always happy and proud to show it. As every wedding is unique, we like customising every single album. We really recommend you to come (with no obligation) and give a look to our sample albums so you can really understand what we mean!
How do you edit our photos?
The editing is the longest process in our workflow. We do a really deep editing but it will never look unreal or artificial. In our editing we just want to get the best result from every photo. For this reason we work each photo individually avoiding batch editing, also for consistency with our mission to keep uniqueness in every work we do. We will mix colours images and black and white. If you have specific desires, just let us know. We want you to look at your best on the photos of your most important day. So if unfortunately you wake up in the morning of your big day with a nasty boil on your face, or you got a little cut, you don't have to worry about the photos, we will remove them. We also like, particularly in the close up, to emphasise your best features. We do not extra charge for this precious service!
When we will see our photos?
We will provide you with some photos a few days after the wedding so you can share them on social networks. The full set of photos will be delivered within 8 working weeks after the wedding. However, our average delivery time is typically much faster than this.
How will we receive our wedding photos?
We deliver your photos on a really cute customised USB pen in a wooden box with your names engraved. You will have the files in high resolution with the rights to print. You will also receive the files in low resolution to share on the web and to watch on monitor. If you have also chosen to have an album, we will design a wonderful album for you in order to preserve your photos on paper.
DO YOU DO VIDEO TOO?
We offer the option to have highly artistic video highlights of your day, thanks to our collaboration with one of the most talented videographers in the UK
DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Our main working area is between Hull, Beverley, the whole Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. However we photographed weddings in different areas of the UK. We photographed weddings in other countries and we have a particularly strength point for destination weddings in Italy as it is where we come from. . This offers you a significant advantage as you'll have a photographer familiar with Italian culture and fluent in the language. More over, for destination weddings in the Lake Garda and Lake Como areas, you would not pay for our staying (just a contribution for the travel expenses) as we have Federica' family at Lake Garda (many English couples get married there) and Stefano's parents not so far from Lake Como (other beautiful place to get married). We also know so many places around Lake Garda and that can be really useful! So. yes, we do destination weddings!!!
